Executive Director
Mohamad grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and is
a junior majoring in Biological Sciences with
minors in AI Applications and Health Care Studies. On the premedical track, Mohamad hopes to pursue an MD in the future. He has a special interest in hematologic disorders, especially bleeding disorders. Outside of the lab Mohamad enjoys fishing, drawing and exploring new cuisines.
Mohamad Saadeh

Deputy Director
Maria grew up in Tampico, Mexico, until the
age of seven, when her family relocated to
San Antonio, Texas. Now a senior majoring in Health and Human Sciences with a focus on Health and Aging, and minoring in Psychology, Maria is on the pre-med track and aspires to become a pediatrician specializing in either oncology or endocrinology. Outside her academic pursuits, Maria enjoys dancing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new destinations.
Maria Tirado

Director of Communications & Media
Jana is a junior majoring in Human Biology
with a minor in Intermedia Arts. She aspires
to pursue a DDS degree and is particularly interested in understanding coagulation disorders such as hemophilia, exploring how dental care can be adapted for patients with these conditions. Outside of her studies, Jana enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and discovering new brunch spots and restaurants with friends.
Jana Zatar

Director of Outreach & Partnerships
Roy was born in Aleppo, Syria, raised in Kuwait,
and moved to Los Angeles four years ago. Now
a sophomore studying Biochemistry on the pre-med track, he hopes to pursue an MD, with a particular interest in hematologic disorders. Outside academics, Roy enjoys weightlifting, playing tennis, and exploring the world of cars.
Roy Khal

Director of Finance & Fundraising
Saba grew up in Los Angeles, California, and is
a junior double majoring in Neuroscience and
French. Inspired by her parents' medical careers, she hopes to earn an MD and specialize in surgery. Currently, she researches the effects of music on brain development at USC's Brain and Creativity Institute. In her free time, Saba enjoys playing piano, listening to music, and traveling.

Malaq is a sophomore at USC, pursuing a BA in
Cognitive Science with a minor in Middle East
Studies. As an Egyptian-American, she is passionate about advancing healthcare equity and exploring the intersections of culture and science. With a keen interest in neuropsychology and cancer research, she brings a unique perspective to her work, fueled by her certifications as an EMT and her hands-on experience in health-focused initiatives. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys cooking and exploring the universal language of music.
Malaq Ali
Sarah yazbeck

Sarah is a junior from the Bay Area majoring in
Human Biology on the pre-medical track. She is
passionate about neurological disorders and has worked in a neural interface lab to further explore her interests. Sarah has shadowed a neurointensivist and trauma surgeon in Los Angeles, and earned her EMT license to gain hands-on clinical experience. She hopes to pursue a career in neurosurgery. Outside of academics, Sarah enjoys fashion, spending time with her family, keeping up with Formula 1, and soaking up the California sun.
